kiwijet 56 Posted May 3, 2016 Wow was I tired and sore today. Its amazing how much conditioning you lose when you are largely inactive for 5 weeks. Was abit disappointing too as the infinitely more accurate scales at work show that I have lost 18 kgs so far. But I got alot of supporting comments as well which is nice. What is a slider that you talk about. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App

kiwijet 56 Posted May 4, 2016 Def it has its ups and downs. The main thing is to keep an eye on sugars and carbohydrates. I had one slice of pork with a small piece of potato and pumpkin for dinner. Plus I had one piece of toast for Breakfast so being at work is drumming up my appetite. My gp said to watch against cheating and by this I mean eating every two hours. kiwijet 56 Posted May 4, 2016 Do you find you are hungry at all. I think my relationship with food is going to change for ever and that probably needed to happen but its still challenging. I go from feeling like I cant eat enough to not feeling like eating. And I will never ve able as they say to eat to my hearts content again. Also Im impatient to get the weight off as well. Haaa its hard to please some people lol. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App
Shell ???? 224 Posted May 4, 2016 I agree I see the food and want to eat it like when I dish up my dinner I want to have more on my plate I hate being only able to eat a tiny bit I don't feel hungry but empty sometimes and when I don't eat I get really low in energy and can't function I'm over feeling sore or Sick after eating I look at the scales and get annoyed I think for the suffering I've done I should be close to goal haha and I'm so over hearing people say oh I know such and such who had that done and they have put all the weight back on plus some I'm like well that's fabulous cool story. kiwijet 56 Posted May 4, 2016 I think the weight takes too long to come off but doesnt go back on as fast as people like to say also. I think I just have to be patient and see where i am at xmas. It is going to take a bit of time to get used to this new life. Why couldn't they have taken the weight away whilst they were operating on us lol. I think starting to exercise will be crucial. kiwijet 56 Posted May 7, 2016 So how's everyone doing. Finished my first week at work and they didnt spare me in any way, which was good as I got to see how I am going. I am moving easier and have lost quite abit off my butt and legs and some off of my stomach. Slowly getting my head around its better to eat a little less than a little more. Think my weight loss has slowed right up, not in a stall but to a more realistic and stable ongoing basis. Hope everyone else is equally well.
