strange symptoms can anyone help

I have recently been experiencing a really intense stinging in my port area ,my site is not red or hot to touch .i dont have to be doing anything it just happens. the pain last about 30 seconds then it fades over a few minutes .my skin feels sore to touch ? just wondering if anyone can help ? any idea's.:help:

How long ago did you have surgery? If it's only within the past few months I'm guessing it's your nerves reknitting themselves together. I got that around a couple of my incisions. It would sting like a mutha for a few minutes then subside.

I have had a similar pain it comes and it goes. I have noticed it generally comes after my sleepng face down on my port, also (don't know if your female or not) :embarassed: but it happens if my bra slips down on my port that happens now because my bra is too loose now.

I had surgery on the 24 jan 07 . Thanks for the advise .I will see if my pain subsides.
