TBodmer71 245 Posted April 29, 2014 I know that you are in a scary situation but, you will be OK. The laparoscopy surgery to repair the ovaries is really quite simple and doesn't take much time to heal from. I've gone through it at least 6 times. It should be a quick day surgery and you should be able to go home that same afternoon. Unless you no longer have a uterus then it becomes a little more invasive. I wish you a pain free, speedy recovery.

piercedqt78 658 Posted May 2, 2014 At least they will hydrate you with iv fluids in pre/post op, and you should have better pain management from the hospital. Try to relax and think positive thoughts. I have had more surgeries that I care to admit and will say that if you go under positive you tend to wake up more peacefully, but if you go under nervous or paniced you tend to wake more agitated.
