Mischievous1 6 Posted April 24, 2007 I've been dying for a body bugg too and just wanted to mention when i checked on ebay - a guy selling a NEW never used one made it sound like if you get a used one it could be programmed for someone else and couldn't be changed - obviously it couldn't be used (say a guy bought it and programmed it for his body weight etc. ) then a woman bought it with different stats.... so be careful I saw that too, but he's wrong. According to Body Bugg customer service you can change it...with the $199 3 month subscription of course!! LOL
Mischievous1 6 Posted April 24, 2007 I soo want to get one (I asked for one for mother's day)... but I'm kind of a cheapskate... that $199 for 3 months is what's 'bugg'ing me (hehehe). I am, however, completely motivated by puddin's success.. argghh. What to do, what to do??? Hey, can anyone tell me how to quote in a reply?? I never learned that. Thanks At the bottom of the message you want to quote there is a "quote" button-hit that and then type in what you want to say after the word "quote" appears at the bottom of the message. Then just 'submit reply' and it comes up looking like this!!
marys 2 Posted April 25, 2007 Thanks for checking on the EBAY bodybugg connection - that's good to know they can be reprogrammed (for a charge, of course)!
SillyWillyMommy 2 Posted April 25, 2007 What about the acti-trainer?? It appears to do the same thing... (and more, check out the sleep section)... for a much lower price ($199 including 1 month free membership).... But is it as good?? Anyone hear anything good/bad about it? Here's the website: http://www.actitrainer.com/default.asp?Movie=home.swf

White06 0 Posted May 19, 2007 If anyone has the actitrainer please let me know what you think of it? I would really like to try this or either the Bodybugg.....Let me know
SillyWillyMommy 2 Posted May 19, 2007 I have the actitrainer and LOVE it.. However, the 'novelty' of it wore off for me after about two weeks. I want to start using it again now... BUT it involves wearing a chest strap, and since I just had my lap band surgery, I have some tenderness and scars along wear the strap goes.. I think I'll be without it for a few weeks. Mischievous1 6 Posted June 22, 2007 Thanks for checking on the EBAY bodybugg connection - that's good to know they can be reprogrammed (for a charge, of course)! As of today I officially am a new Body Bugg owner! I'm so excited....
itsmequienmas 0 Posted July 10, 2007 So does bodybugg require one to wear a chest strap like the actitrainer?
Mischievous1 6 Posted July 10, 2007 So does bodybugg require one to wear a chest strap like the actitrainer? No - you only wear the bugg on the arm, that is it.
itsmequienmas 0 Posted July 10, 2007 Good to know! Thanks!
losingjusme 12 Posted July 11, 2007 No - you only wear the bugg on the arm, that is it. one of the reasons i was hesitant to get the body bugg was the arm band. i was used to the chest strap with my heart rate monitor. to be honest, i did not like the bugg the first day or so. it annoyed me and i didnt want it on my arm. i am now very used to it and cant even tell i am wearing it. i wear it from the time i get up in the morning until the time i go to sleep. Cherrybomb 0 Posted July 11, 2007 I'm wondering if people are using bodybugg for more than a few weeks. Has it been worth the price? I don't want to pay that much for a gadget that I won't use after a few weeks.
