Best multivitamin option - had to share

Recommended Posts

I have cleared this with my surgeon and NUT. It's a liquid Multivitamin and absorbs better in your new stomach as opposed to the yucky chewable ones that are hard to keep down. I can say that I am SO glad I found it! I found it at GNC on sale (buy one get one half off). The guy at the counter let me sample it before I bought it and I was amazed. It's called "Sea Essentials" and the flavor I have is "sea berry". I Actually let my bariatric coordinator try it when I was out of surgery. She couldn't believe how good it tastes either and will now be recommending it to all her other patients.

I think it's like $20 a bottle for 32oz, and so worth it!! Which is why I had to share with all of you:) I have heard too many of you talking about how disgusted you are with your multivitamin. Enjoy guys!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm definitely sick of my chewable. There is a GNC in my neighborhood, so I think I'll have to check into that today.

I'm really intrested in checking this out! :) do you know if it contains all the minerals also? Lack of minerals was the main reason I could no longer take my gummie Vitamins.< /p>

Idk if anyone here has been as bad as me but I'm 15 days post op, no Vitamins at all yet, I tried crushing them once and threw them up, too scared to swallow the pill. I will try this week to swallow them again since I do feel a bit weak, has anyone have this issue?

My NUT told me I had to have liquid or chewable vitamins, I wasn't allowed pills. I like this better than any pill and will probably use it for life:)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
