1Day1Life4Now 882 Posted April 29, 2014 I'm good with the Atkins and Premier shakes but I've found that the shakes are a very important part of this diet as far as getting all of the Protein in. Keep trying till you find something you like. You may have to add powdered Protein to your food.

vsg_joanna 67 Posted April 29, 2014 I found that after surgery I prefer the plainer flavors such as chocolate or vanilla mixed with plain Water. Before surgery I loved thick shakes and now that doesn't work well with my tummy and makes me nauseated. Also, I found that I don't handle ready to drink shakes well either. The ones you mix yourself taste better, less thick.
