ginger3151 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Could someone please provide some guidance or assistance. I have been stuck at the same weight for over 2 months. I've had 2 fills so far my last one about 2 weeks ago and still I'm not loosing any weight. I'm eating low fat, high Protein and drinking so much Fluid - I have to get up 3 times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom!! I'm swimming 3 times a week. I'm considering trying the liquid diet for a couple of days to see if it will jump start my weight loss, but worried I will really, really be hungry! Has anyone ever tried this, any suggestions?? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.:think :help:
juliegeraci 7 Posted April 11, 2007 Yes, I tried liquid for a couple days and it worked. How many calories a day are you consuming. Try 800-1k a day and you should be able to lose. Julie
ginger3151 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Julie How did you deal with the hunger while you were on the liquid diet? Right now I'm eating about 1000 calories a day. I eat my meal and eat till I'm full, so I'm worried the liquid diet may not fill me up.
juliegeraci 7 Posted April 11, 2007 I added in some creamy Soup and that helped me a lot. I just think you may need another fill.
Wheetsin 714 Posted April 11, 2007 I'm eating low fat, high Protein and drinking so much Fluid Hi Ginger3151. I just posted to your other thread on this. According to the sample menu you shared there, I would have to disagree with your statement above and say that your diet is low Protein, high carb, low fat. It may benefit you to use a service such as www.fitday.com to track the food you're eating. That may help you identify undesirable patterns. A good guideline is that about 80 - 95% of what we eat should be protein. Not because we need THAT MUCH protein, but because of the small amount we do eat, we really need to focus on getting the Proteins in before anything else. You don't want protein overload, you don't need to brush your teeth with Protein powder, but you do need enough. Many people can identify a relationship between not enough protein and cessation of fat loss. Your sample menu also seemed full of Snacks. If you're needing to snack between meals, you might need more fill.
Wheetsin 714 Posted April 11, 2007 I eat my meal and eat till I'm fullAnother tip - don't eat until you're full. Eat until you're no longer hungry. A big portion of food separates "not hungry" and "full". If you need to, wait a few minutes between bites and really pay attention to what your body is telling you. If you're truly physically hungry, eat some more. If you're not, but there's food left on your plate, or it tastes good and you really want another bite, then evaluate whether or not it's worth it. ginger3151 0 Posted April 16, 2007 I started eating more Protein. When I had a meal I would eat the protein first, then veggie, etc. I also am making sure I get 60 grams of protein a day.
Jachut 487 Posted April 17, 2007 I've found that its taken an hour of running five or six times a week to keep the weight moving, three times just wasnt enough for me. If you can possibly up the exercise I think it will help.
