mommyjamie 83 Posted April 27, 2014 It's 10:30 pm and I am feeling very hungry. What is acceptable to have this late? I am eating a couple oz of Greek yogurt. Any thoughts?
KeeWee 470 Posted April 27, 2014 Yogurt should be ok to help with digestive movement over night of I would say fruit or nuts.
mommyjamie 83 Posted April 27, 2014 Thanks! I am only 6 days post op and on full liquids. I would give my right arm for some nuts or fruit, lol, but not yet!

Bbmomma4 2 Posted April 27, 2014 A nurse friend of mine went through the surgery with me. They upped her Prevacid and her hunger pains went away. We eat three meals a day with fluids in between.
marfar7 1,533 Posted April 27, 2014 Progresso Tomato Basil Soup and Split Pea were my saviors the first 4 weeks (full liquids). Everytime I was hungry (and it came back on day 10), I sipped 1/2 cup of hot Soup. It filled me up more (at least for a couple hrs) than cold stuff. Feels more like real food. Good luck! getnhealthyintx 281 Posted April 27, 2014 I'm just on day six of my preop diet two Proteins shakes a day and when sensible small meal. But I have found that a little bit of bouillon or warm tea really does help I like the idea of warm food.
