windfaerie 41 Posted April 27, 2014 Be glad your new little tummy can only handle a couple bites and have a lot of fun.
mickeylumbo 11 Posted April 28, 2014 How do I manage this without making myself crazy? Hi. Im 2 weeks post surgery and thinking alot about food... flavors and textures I miss. I have slowly been trying small bits (not bites) of grilled chickenor scrambled egg... etc. I also sooth my cravings with sugar-free popsicles. And I have no guilt about that. I have no pain...but occasional soreness. Lying awake this morning, thinking about food, I decided to jump up at 4:30 am and take a walk. I set a goal of 1.5 miles in 30 minutes... I almost met my goal... I finished in 31 minutes! I still may get a bite to eat, but, by getting up and walking prevented me from going "crazy" lol. Hang in there!! :-)
sophie'sChoice 269 Posted April 28, 2014 try to distract yourself. A hobby? I was/am lucky in that I'm just never really hungry. But in the past, when I was trying to keep from eating I would dive into a project...it usually helped. Hang in there!
