Some of the people that was at the cabins this weekend hadn't seen me since I was banded. They all complimented me alot. My one nephew said he didn't know it was me! :( They sure knew how to make a gal feel good!

This NSV thread turned out 2 Bee a good'un ladies ...Thnx 4 sharin.

OMG ...How do you sum up the thangz that haz happened 2 me a as a result of this surgey? I dunno but I'll give it a KISS (Keep It Simple Sweetie) and see what happenz. *grin*

The 26th (my bandiversary) is soo close I can taste it and I can't wait! I'm gonna find sum way ov makin it ROCK! I've earned sum kinda reward 4sure ...sum1 plz tell me I did cuz I feel like I just ran a marathon and WON!

This year I've not only lost MORE than a hundred poundzzz, lost 16 pant sizes, & im not only physically, but am mentally healthier, I feel like an all around NEW WOMAN compared 2 the Me a mere year ago!

In a week I'll Celebrate my "Bandiversary" with Xcitement and Joy ...naa, it'z more like PURE ENERGY :)

I could have NEVER known wat this surgery would do 4 me. I might have chickened out if I'de had known 1/2 of the story ahead of time

...so 4 once I'm grateful that my wish I made as a lil'gurl was never granted. If I was Psychic (likeI wanted 2 Bee)...I might have lost out.

If that don't get ya Xcited ...I dunno

This weekend at the Beach I discovered that forgot a jacket. So I had to buy a new one. I picked up a 2x and it fit fine. A lttle roomy but that's okay. Wait a second... The sleeves are a bit long. Let's try the XL. I know, I know, an XL? that's crazy talk. Hey! this XL is pretty roomy... but the sleeves fit.

so. I had this totally insane idea... What would happen if I try on a Large? oh, it's never going to fit, it won't even zip up. Nah.. I'm too fat for a LARGE.

oh my gawd, she's actually going to try to put on a LARGE jacket??? What, is she nuts? Is she a glutton for punishment?

No! She's the proud owner of a poweder blue fleese Long Beach Washington jacket!!! SIZE LARGE

Now THAT would feel great. Numbers on the scale dont mean that much to me, I find I can be at the heavy end of my normal range and still have my clothes feel lose or vice versa.

I have a bad habit of buying clothes that dont fit me :-(

I'm down to a size 14---yeah!!! I gave away all of my 16's today. It felt so liberating. I can walk for miles now. But, boy is it hot out. Unfortunetly my treadmill and boflex are collecting bunnies--Lol. I tried moving them into my bedroom--didn't work--there's even more bunnines in there.

10 pounds till I'm at pre-pregnancy wieght--yahoo!

Excellent Vinesqueen!!! congrats, congrats, congrats!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
