hannahbanana85 1 Posted April 26, 2014 I had my surgery done this past Monday and everything went extremely well. I have not be able to get the full amount of liquids down yet. Every time i take a small sip I burp and sometimes it's a bit painful. I'm concerned that I'm not getting enough fluids at this point and really don't want to get dehydrated! Does anyone have any tips or suggests as to what I can do to get more fluids ? Thanks!

ShirlyDee 2 Posted April 26, 2014 I was sleeved the same day as you! I haven't been having issues with my fluids the past couple of days, but when I was having issues I would walk around for about 5 mins before I drank anything, take a Gas X strip, and stand when drinking. I don't know if standing while drinking is proven to help, but it def worked for me lol. Good Luck 1 Denise73 reacted to this
