Hellbent 32 Posted April 26, 2014 Hi everyone, I'm a little over a week pre-op and to say I'm anxious may be an understatement. I'm on day 4 of pre-op shake diet which affords only 750 calories per day. Struggling with this as I do quite a bit of physical labor. I'm hoping this improves as the week goes on. My biggest concern about the surgery is my insatiable desire to drink. I always have Water on hand and I am concerned that following surgery I will be constantly thirsty. should I be? Any tip or advice is appreciated. Thanks
Aubsmartorana 3 Posted April 26, 2014 I was the same way I always drink Water. I had my surgery 8 days ago and I'm not thirsty because you should always be drinking your fluids. I have to just take sips and remind myself not to gulp or drink to fast you'll feel it if you try drinking to fast. Good luck on your surgery and journey.
