I'm 5 weeks post op and I've lost 29 pounds but I feel more out of shape than I did pre-op. I walk at least 2 miles a day and am cleared for exercise next week.

I'm not sure where I'm going to find the energy. I get winded walking up a long flight of steps (ball park for ex) I didn't before surgery.

I eat between 450-600 cal. 70% Protein, 20% fat, 10% carbs.

Thoughts?

How are you doing with your Vitamins? My dr had me in 3; multi, D, and b complex.

I'm doing well on Vitamins - I'm feeling much better this week. I've figured out that if I don't get Protein and Water on say Monday, Tuesday I feel like crap. I've really been watching water and protein - I also added B12 and things are much better.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...
