So... Over 100 lbs down and treated myself to a photo shoot. I'm in LOVE!!

Here's some not-so-naughty shots (before editing/ retouching)

I think it was around 8-9 months when I was 100 lbs down. Not quite positive.

I just follow my rules-- and no rice, bread, potatoes, Pasta. And I workout a lot. :)

I still have a little more to lose, but I'm feeling amazing!

Thank you all !!!

I def recommend getting photos takes as a little WTG gift (even if it's family photos)

And here's another..

Holy...You look AMAZING!!!! I'm a little in love, I can't even lie. Nice job!! I think this will be my gift to myself when I hit 100 down too! (still pre-op, sad day)

This was a great idea, it will be super good motivation to keep it off. Well done, super model.

@@MistyAnnMoon829 "I'm a little in love" HAHAHA

Me too! Lol. I feel as though I'm looking at a stranger sometimes.

It's a fantastic gift for yourself-- I HIGHLY recommend it. I plan on doing it again after plastics.

Did you give them to your hubby yet?

I'm thinking about doing it, maybe just doing pin up type after I get to goal.

They turned out great!

Thanks.

And I haven't chosen my photos yet-- I have just over 200 to choose from for an album of 20 photos. And all 200 look amazing.... Life is hard.

;)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
