Pouch hurts when growels.

When it wake up in the morning my stomach growls and hurts while it growls. Is that normal? I'm 6 days post op. Is it telling me to eat cause I was asleep all night or is that just how my new pouch wakes up?

I think it's normal to hurt a little. Even before the surgery when I was really hungry and my tummy growled it would hurt a little. If it hurts really bad and is a concern call your surgeons office. But yes, to answer your question it is uncomfortable when my new tummy is empty and growls.
