Yeah, my surgeon says to eat whatever you can tolerate after you get out of the hospital. Says it leads to less food intolerances later on. So far the yogurt goes down best, but I've also eaten pureed Soup, and mashed potatoes with Protein Powder mixed in.

Awesome Maltese gal! Tonight I am compiling my list. Shopping tomorrow for the essentials. Gas X strips, Chapstick, stuff like that.

I did the same thing, I even bought my baby bowls with lids and baby spoons for after, have put stuff in my bag for hospital already too lol

Well, I am two days post op. Still swollen and mild pain, but doing much better. Having a hell of a time getting in my liquids and Protein as I am just not hungry. Plus I have been drinking too fast and causing pain. How is everyone else doing?

Congrats on becoming an official sleever!!! I know your having issues with liquid intake and Protein, we all went thru it. Dont worry with time you will be able to reach your daily goals. Dont gulp down anything, sip slowly cause the pain isnt worth it. You will get your hunger back eventually but nowhere near how it was before. As far as your protein just sip it thru out the day, you dont have to drink it in one sitting. Trust me protein always felt heavy on my tummy and most everyone had issues with it at first.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!
