proudmama1319 7 Posted April 23, 2014 Ok so I'm finally able to move away from the staples of my life; the beloved Jello and broth. Any suggestions how to start, what to eat morn, noon night? I'm just trying to wrap my head around what a day looks like. 2 enjoythetime and Mikee57 reacted to this
enjoythetime 1,457 Posted April 23, 2014 Breakfast: Dannon Light Greek Yogurt is still what I eat every morning. lunch I would do steamed cauliflouer and mix in a wedge of laughing cow cheese, salt and pepper and puree or Cottage cheese- small curd or Vegetable Soup pureed Dinner: Refried Beans, pureed or Cottage Cheese- small curd or Vegetable Soup pureed Of course you can still do your Protein shakes to get in your Protein SF Jello Puddings- 60 cal I'm sure there are many others but these were my staples through this stage. Best of luck and congrats on moving on to the next stage!!:-) 1 Mikee57 reacted to this

You should have detailed instructions of what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat. If you did not receive this information, demand it. This is not the way to start your journey. You need information or you will get into trouble. Eating with the band is not instinctive at all and I am concerned for you that you will not receive the support you deserve and are paying for. Please call or see your doctor or nutritionist as soon as possible. Good luck. 2 enjoythetime and Mikee57 reacted to this
proudmama1319 7 Posted April 24, 2014 Thank you enjoythetime. You're response was very helpful and greatly appreciated. To see how the foods all fit in within a day. Getting a list from my nutritionist wasn't enough for me. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom ???? 1 Mikee57 reacted to this
RedStorm 139 Posted April 24, 2014 I started soft foods last week and here are some of the things I eat: scrambled eggs, tuna with light mayo, canned chicken with light mayo, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, thinned oatmeal, deli turkey with laughing cow cheese wedge, pintos and cheeses go made like Taco Bell, turkey meatballs in blender with some Pasta Sauce. My doc told me I could have any soft food that I could cut with a cheap plastic fork and it not break. 1 Mikee57 reacted to this
