ZombieChic 11 Posted July 27, 2015 That's great! Are you planning on having the surgeries at the same time? That's our goal. We have no family here so we have to see if we can find someone to come be a "babysitter" if not the we will have to go separate.Based on my experience, my recommendation would be for ya'll to have it done at least a month apart; unless you have some really good supportive help staying at your house while both of you recover. I was pretty much bed ridden for the first 4 weeks and depended solely on my 17 year old son and my husband.

Guess it's time continue researching. That would be cool @raptorwit h! I wonder if we can get enough interest.
LessOfMe0503 157 Posted July 28, 2015 I don't know... since this forum isn't too active, is there another part we could post on to say we were trying to make the forum active and plan a meet up?

candiblack 12 Posted November 9, 2015 Hi I'm from the Greensboro area but plan on having my surgery at Duke Regional. My Doctor is Dr. Park. He seems like a great doctor but for the past month I have left messages with nurse as what is my next step for surgery. I have not gotten a call back or anything. I left messages with administrative assistant and or nurses for her to contact me, still nothing. I live almost 2 hrs away so getting an appointment for what can be explained over the phone is crazy. I was wondering if I should switch to Dr. Sudan since you all speak so highly of him or wait it out.
underthewillow 2 Posted July 21, 2016 I've been waiting for three weeks for a call back...not happy. I switched to a different practice and have been loving it! I hope things get easier for you. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App

Sharon C. 32 Posted September 9, 2016 I had the DS on October 6, 2014 with Dr. Ng at Rex. My starting weight was 321 lbs, and I'm down to 149 lbs now. I've lost 172 lbs. I'm extremely happy with my surgery and surgeon.
