Hi, welcome...I'm not sleeved yet but I can tell you a few things I have read about. Everyone is different! Some have nausea, pain, bloating, dizzy right after surgery to hardly having any pain at all. Some go back to work within a week after surgery, some cannot. Drink or eat Protein first, drink Water, vegetables second and starches last. It might take a few weeks to get all your protein at first. Most people never go over 850-1000 calories a day after surgery, even two years out. Eat and chew slowly. Make wise decisions. I am taking hand-me-down clothes from friends who are 2, 3, and 4 sizes smaller so I don't have to buy as much during each weight loss stage. Expect to be thinner!

This is a good question and I can't recall which thread of the forum I asked something similar, like: was there anything you know now (post-surgery) that you wish you were told pre-surgery?

The response was to read through the forums and faqs. It's a hard one to answer because everyone's experience is a bit different.

All the best to you!
