Marathongirl 106 Posted April 22, 2014 Just curious... I had my surgery March 17, 2014, so I'm 5 weeks post op. I was just wondering, about how many calories everyone is taking in. I know that we are all at different stages, and our doctors each tell us something different. But, Im just really curious. I count mine every once in awhile, and I'm anywhere from 400-500. If you count, what are yours? Thanks I'm pretty much the same as you about 400-600 calories I try to make sure Protein is eaten first and are good choices. Baconville 578 Posted April 23, 2014 I believe at five weeks I was only at about 300 calories a day, and was normally in the negative with exercise. I am now at nearly 8 months and am between 700 - 800 calories each day. My clinic emphasized counting Protein not calories, but I track everything I eat, and was amazed how little I needed!
