I'm not really sure where to start. I'm sick over being over weight. I know I need help but where do you start?

The first thing you should do is talk to your Primary Care Physician. They can refer you from there.

You can also contact a bariatric surgeon's office directly rather than go through your PCP.

Google bariatric surgery in your area, read up on the available programs and call and make an appointment. They will guide you from there.

What do you do when you don't have insurance or a regular doctor? I don't really have any medical problems other than being fat and I don't get sick often. When I do get sick I go to a walk in clinic but I haven't been to one in a couple of years.
