Hi everyone!

I have been right here before my lap-band 3 years ago. Tomorrow I will start my pre-op diet for my sleeve scheduled for May 6th. I'm nervous, excited, scared, hopeful, determined and a slew of other emotions. I was short term successful with my band. I lost a lot and now have gained it back. I KNOW this time will be different! I'm glad to have this site for support!

Anyone else scheduled for May?

Hello TracieR. I'm scheduled for May 5th. I am nervous but I have my last Doctor's apt pre-op on Wednesday so I can still ask him a few last minute questions and get a little reassurance. Hope all goes well for you and ad1203. Wishing you both well. Will write & let u know how things went. Keep up positive attitudes.

I also had the band done have gained most of my weight back over the last four years or so. I'm considering the sleeve so it's good to hear that people do switch from the band to the sleeve. I hope it works well for you.
