Jessiegirl30 149 Posted April 21, 2014 So it's been 16 days since surgery and this week I only lost 2lbs I am not happy I just hope it improves over the next week has anyone else experienced this? Bufflehead 6,358 Posted April 21, 2014 Most people experience a weight loss slow down or even a complete halt somewhere between weeks 2 and 4. This is completely normal. Your body is adjusting and healing still -- just keep following your program and eventually the weight will start to come off again. DeniseNCC1701 306 Posted April 21, 2014 Don't obsess about the number on the scale. I know. I know. Easier said than done. But you have to trust the process. Stalls are common, and happen to pretty much everyone. I think someone here once said that posts about disappointing numbers are the most common posts of all. Yet if you look at long-term stats, everyone does well at the end of the day. Keep plugging along, follow your doctors instructions, vent here when you need to. You're going to be fine.
