Hello all! I am 12 weeks post-op gastric sleeve and have repeatedly had problems with low potassium. I know I technically should be eating more potassium rich foods but tell that to my tummy. Please tell me I'm not alone in this and if you have any suggestions, I am all ears. Thanks

You're not alone. I log on my fitness pal and I'm usually only getting 1/3 of the potassium I need. Hoping it gets better as I can eat and tolerate more because I know low potassium can cause problems,

Low carb diets often mean low potassium and magnesium. I supplement them. It has helped with my awakening in the middle of the night and leg cramping.

I've been adding a powder called "greens" to my Water and it is really nothing but potassium and magnesium. I get raspberry flavor but they also have orange. It tastes good and great for nutrients and digestion.
