Premade Chicken Meatballs

Recommended Posts

Quick and easy for lunch or dinner.

Premade chicken Meatballs (found organic at Whole Foods). Place in mini muffin tin and cook per directions (these were pre-cooked but I heated longer than it said to). Heat some marinara out of a jar. 2 meatballs, 2 T marinara, add 1/4c mozerrella. About 170 calories. About 16g Protein. Very good and a nice change from plain chicken.< /p>

I'll have to look for those, sounds good. The mini turkey meatballs at Trader Joe's are tasty, too. We had them with spaghetti squash and prego light Pasta Sauce (lower carb) with some mozzarella melted on top.

Aidells caramelized onion meatballs (frozen section) are awesome too! Made with chicken.

Check the sugar content on the turkey meatballs and if there's no added sugar, go to town! I am always surprised how many brands add sugar to their meatballs. I have found a few that don't and turkey meatballs are what I use =)

I would just make them homemade and use jennie-o meat

I made Greek Turkey Meatballs. Used ground turkey, feta cheese and black olives. Cooked them in the mini muffin tins. Dipped them in dill yogurt dip. Delish. Oh, I added basil and oregano too.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
