Ready2tryagain 23 Posted April 17, 2014 I can't believe it's here. I know this is what I need to do but I've never had surgery and I'm scared. I'm starting a new life. 4 Kelly Gonzalez, mentalistfan, Comeflywithme and 1 other reacted to this

Evelyn2 6 Posted April 17, 2014 You will do fine. I'm on my third day post - op and I'm feeling great. Day one and two can be a mixed bag of ups and downs as your new stomach is adjusting. Give it time. And remember to walk as soon as you can after recovery and make laps around the nurses station as often as you're able. Believe me it helps with your healing and the terrible gas after. Best advice I got was to walk, walk, walk. Praying you have a successful surgery and a speedy recovery! 1 Comeflywithme reacted to this

CaliLoser118 8 Posted April 17, 2014 Stay focused on all the reasons you are doing this and the end results. It's a rough couple of days, but you do get through it and then it's a distant memory. Just keep reminding yourself that everyday gets better and cute clothes are just around the bend. Surrender...and breathe. Good luck!

Ready2tryagain 23 Posted April 18, 2014 You guys are awesome! Thank you so much! I have abdominal soreness but I'm doing well. Last night at 3am, I got up and walked 3/10ths of a mile around the floor at the hospital. In an hour I'm going to try for 1/2 mile. I'm laying on my side and I'm comfortable. The pain pump is amazing!
