jtickle 295 Posted April 15, 2014 I was told last week that info had been sent to the insurance company. Come to find out that insurance coordinator was not even there last week. So I called them yesterday and was told it would be before the end of the week. I was fine with that I understand she was out all last week. I called today to check on it and was told it could be next week. So what is it this week, next week, maybe sometime in the near future? I am so ticked off right now. My expensive insurance is paying their salaries I expect to be treated with respect not like they are doing me a favor.
BigGirlPanties 957 Posted April 15, 2014 I work for an insurance company, so please don't take it out on the customer service rep... we can only give you the information that is in our systems... but it sounds like you are getting conflicting info, and that's not good. What we have to realize is that we are not their only client... I am sure they are doing what needs to be done...but when we are in a "holding" pattern, it is very frustrating... I understand. Hopefully you will get some good news very soon! Good luck to you
jtickle 295 Posted April 15, 2014 I actually don't mind the insurance company, they told me I could call anytime I needed to. They are very nice. I am just mad at the surgeon's office for not having a straight story. If it going to be next week that's fine just tell me that. I am very polite when I call the doctor's office and the lady I always get stuck talking to is very rude. I am trying very hard to be patient, but I have anxiety issues an they are starting to bother me. I am hardly able to sleep I am so worried about all this and I am finding it very difficult to stick to preop diet because I am wondering if it is going to worth it. 1 BigGirlPanties reacted to this

ChristyAZ 87 Posted April 24, 2014 jtickle ... you might try talking with the office manager at your surgeons office and explaining the run around you have received. They just might be able to get things done a bit more to your satisfaction. Also, at your appointment with the dr, advise him/her about the situation, wether it has been resolved or not. A dr only knows so much about the issues in his office as they are BUSY .... seeing patients .... and often are shocked at the problems going on without their knowledge. Now of course I dont mean be all yellie and screamie but a simple "hey, I thought you should be aware" would maybe save someone else the anxiety you have been dealing with ..... Good luck
