Has anyone found a product or non-surgerical procedure for firm skin when you have all this extra skin from losing weight?

Sorry, nothing really works except time and surgery. However, the younger you are the better it firms up over time.

Lotions etc. make your skin soft and look somewhat better, but it is not a long term fix. If anyone has a miracle lotion, I would love to see it.

Has anyone heard of "Thermage"?

Yes. I am doubtful that it can tighten the large areas of loose skin many of us have. I usually think of it for tightening "turkey neck". Consults are usually free, let us know what you find out.

Has anyone tried the ItWorks! Wraps? I have seen some really great result photos from friends who have had the sleeve/bypass/lapband. Do a search and find a distributor in your area!!

I did thermage on a cruise. I had 3 sessions and lost a ton of inches from Water. As soon as I rehydrated it came back.

I used the ITWorks wraps and gel for a while. It was great. Nothing is permanent until you get under the knife.

I have lots of wraps I never used I can sell to you at a super discounted rate if you want them.

I am no longer a distributor and I am not using them either so if you want to try them I would be happy to send them if you pay a little over shipping.

I'd be interested - I know they don't work long-term but for an evening out they'd help, right?

I love ItWorks wraps and can verify they work. I also buy the ItWorks greens, which are full of potassium and magnesium and great for digestion. I have the best and kindest distributor who always has time to answer my questions and I just place my order online and it comes to my door. I just ordered their hair, skin and nail Vitamins. Great company and you can't go wrong with the wraps! Here's the website I use to order if you want to check it out: kristins.myitworks.com

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
