I just saw a story on the news about the sleeve!

A young girl with a metabolic disease was suppose to get a bypass but doctors decided since her liver was so large that the sleeve would be best. Since then, her mother says she's much better now and losing weight and is no longer consumed with the thought of food.

What a great thing to see on Fox local news days before my surgery. So many people only know the first few bad weeks as the entire experience and it annoys me beyond belief to get so much negativity any time I speak about it..

I understand they don't have the knowledge but I sure wish they chose to learn before they judge..Smh.

Yes, I heard this story...she had a brain tumor removed and it did something to her that made her hungry and she was over 200 lbs.
