greensleeve 457 Posted April 13, 2014 Wait until you had intercourse? It's been two and a half weeks and I mentally want to but I'm kind of scared at the same time! I know my husband would like to. I don't have any pain in my abdomen from the incisions anymore. What was your experience?
vogue 310 Posted April 13, 2014 I told my husband the same as I'll tell you. I had 85% of my stomach removed. Not my vagina. The vagina bone is not connected to the stomach bone. So relax and do it!! 10 VSG AJH, Susysleever, LindafromFlorida and 7 others reacted to this

mollz007 60 Posted April 13, 2014 My nurse told me I could whenever I was ready. I think it was about a week. I had zero desire to have sex before that. Poor hubby.
greensleeve 457 Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) Of course my intestines are a mess for no reason. No nookie tonight. A glass of wine would be nice. Edited April 13, 2014 by Loveit2012
Dragonsmate 107 Posted April 14, 2014 At my 2 week post op appointment, hubby wanted to know if I had been cleared for "all" activity~LOL, doc said whatever I could tolerate and I said "hot damn" My doctor laughed so I know he was "hip" to the question Just take it easy, no swinging from chandeliers or monkey bars, and enjoy. I still haven't felt up to it. I'm just not in the mood. I am so tired and emotional, and I can tell my period is coming. Blech!
KayleeC14 159 Posted April 15, 2014 I attempted to have sex with my boyfriend but we couldn't because I had a three month strong period since surgery and he was having none of that! I don't blame him either lol

smallnavajo 45 Posted April 21, 2014 Thx for posting this question!! I recently spoke with my husband and thanked him for being patient and understanding. I told him that although I'm "hot" for him, let me get this uncomfortable drain tube out first, which is tomorrow..then I would make it up to him. ;0) 20 lbs lighter, I should fit my nighties much better. Good luck everyone!
