shmily 424 Posted May 1, 2014 Sometimes when I look at people's stats I have to remember that a lot of folks are required to follow a wt loss plan for 6 months prior to their surgery. That is included inn their wt loss stat. 1 tebowfan reacted to this
Ginger Snaps 1,323 Posted May 2, 2014 I find it funny those posts where somebody says they have ONLY lost 48 pounds in 6 weeks or something like that. For a "lightweight" like me, my goal loss is around 70 pounds, so I imagine I will lose at a slower rate than someone with a lot more weight to lose. I'm trying to prep myself now to not freak out if I have a short stall or if I don't lose as fast as someone else. These boards are helping to 'prep' me for that. wadetb7 37 Posted May 2, 2014 My surgery is 6th May -I keep getting scared - not of the surgery itself but the thought I may never be able to enjoy food again or I will feel nauseus and sick every time I eat - but these posts do fill me with hope and renewed strength - you are amazing xx I have those same worries! The nausea and vomiting stories are frightening. But my health is at risk now so here I go. My surgery is May 20th.
