lark60 431 Posted April 12, 2014 Well I am 10 months post Sleeve and just came back from a 2 week vacation to see 5 of my grandchildren. I was worried about the 15 hour flight (they live in Korea), eating strange foods and the challenge of bringing Protein to make sure I keep on tract. I knew I wouldn't be able to stay on my weight loss diet (2 shakes, small meal and 1 snack) but I was able to work around the meals the family were eating. I brought individual packets of Protein powder shakes and stuck with a shake for Breakfast each day. I learned several things on this trip. Rice can get stuck just as easy as bread (every meal in Korea has rice). I cannot let myself get caught up in the moment when eating (I over eat when the food is so good and the company engaging). Walking is the main way to get around and I was able to get in 8-10k steps a day (which is why I believe I kept my weight stable) Now I just have to get in the habit to walk more every day. Well, now I am home and it is time to get back to loosing the last 30 lbs to hit my goal. 2 Domika03 and Mokamami reacted to this
