I don't eat slowly, but I measure portions...is this okay?

I keep hearing about how I need to eat slowly, but I don't really see why. I chew very thoroughly and I measure out my portions before I sit down to eat.

As long as I'm not getting sick and I'm not overeating, do I really need to slow down?

I don't think so. I sometimes eat faster than other times, but I measure my food before I sit down to eat and I know immediately when I am done even if there is food left on my plate. Some foods I have to eat slow and some days I have to, then other times I don't find it necessary. I think the most important thing is to listen to your body.

You Have Already Lost 103 Lbs So It Must Be Working For Ya. If You Were A Newbe, I Would Say Something Different. But As Jack Said, "if It's Not Broke" Your Doing Great!!
