People with slipped band

Recommended Posts

I'm already worry about that and haven't been banded yet.

Maybe I'm worrying that I've not made the right choice if the band will eventally slip or the pouch will stretch and I will once again be fat or fatter somewhere down the road.

My question is this:

Was your band sewn in? If it was how did the slippage happen?

Thank you for taking the time to answer a worry wart's questions.:)

What she said.... and is also the reason why you are to be on soft foods the first 6 weeks and why all the docs say that the first 6 weeks are for HEALING.. you are letting scar tissue mold your band into place....

A lot of complications come out on boards like this because it is someone seeking advice or info, which is why it SEEMs like more than 3%.

Adhere to the banster rules and go on with life...... if complications happen deal with it then.

Hi, All of the above, another possibility is if the surgeon does not place the band correctly.
