LaylaJ 17 Posted April 10, 2014 Despite some serious anxiety the day before surgery I was sleeved on 4-8-14. The pain has been a little worse than I anticipated. I have to admit I have questioned why I did this a little. Then I remember this short term pain will be worth the long term affects. I have been walking but have still had a lot of gas built up in my chest. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting rid of it? I am completely amazed how I am on liquids and not feeling hungry!!! This is amazing. I think once the pain is gone its gonna be the best decision ever. 6 onlybroomegirl, KeeWee, mollz007 and 3 others reacted to this
henna 3 Posted April 10, 2014 Gas-x works well for the gassy feeling. The pain will get better each day so just hang in there. It's the muscles trying to recover. Good luck and congratulations! 2 JacobsMommy and Idahospud reacted to this

DeniseNCC1701 306 Posted April 10, 2014 Congratulations, and welcome to the losers bench! You're going to do GREAT! Heating pads helped me with the gas and, of course, walking when you can. The lack of hunger is pretty amazing, isn't it? Keep sipping Water, and again, congratulations! Be well…
