Jaime Nicole 0 Posted April 9, 2014 My question to the ones that have had the surgery already is.... How often do you workout and is it easy for you to lose the weight quicker after having the surgery compared to doing it on your own? I've been watching youtube videos and no one mentions working out just eating better and then the ups and downs after the surgery. I know there will be ups and downs. I eat healthy now and I workout 5-6 times a week so I'm used to it for after the surgery.
Mrs.RRn 2,111 Posted April 9, 2014 I work out most days 1-3 hours. I don't know why you wouldn't if your goal is to be healthier... But to each his own. Of course you lose weight quicker with surgery, or else no one would be crazy enough to do it. Lol For ME, exercise is an important part of life. If you already have it in your routine, you'll find it easier and easier to exercise as the lbs drop off. 1 Band2Sleever reacted to this
BigGirlPanties 957 Posted April 9, 2014 The exercise helps more for the toning of the skin that will be hanging off your body as you lose weight... It makes for a healthier you all the way around... you don't have to do MAJOR exercising, but they do suggest walking every day ....
Aileen-March 2014 Sleeved 45 Posted April 9, 2014 I had my surgery 1 month ago on March 11th. I just started walking 1-2 miles a day and am going to Water aerobics 2 x week. Love this class. I can already tell it is going to help tone loose skin.
Jaime Nicole 0 Posted April 9, 2014 Yes, Water aerobics is awesome. I just started it this week and love it. It's been kicking my butt but it's well worth it. Everyone in the class is really nice and supportive of one another. I figured starting this class along with my other workouts will really help with the loose skin. Get a jump start on it. I've never been so motivated about working out before but the water aerobics and swimming 66 laps is so much better on my back and joints right now. Plus you lose a lot more weight in the water then on the treadmill or other equipment. I have a lot of weight to lose. I've lost 201 on my own but I need the help and I know I will get it with this surgery.
