Hello everybody,

I have worked extensively to produce the following video to show to the world my success with LAP BAND.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

If you you like my video, I appreciate if you click and leave a comment... The more support I have and more views, the more I can keep contributing to a local support group and people who watch me.

Thank you and God Bless you.

Maria.

Thanks so much for the video and let me say you are drop dead gorgeous!! B)

What a transformation?? The picture near the end were super.

But, the music? I love that music? Who was that? We have a time share in Mexico but haven't gone much in the last few years. Your video brought back this rush of memories sitting in a café by the ocean listening to the music.

I see you love the ocean as we do? Have you ever listened to Sting "The Living Sea"? There are a few songs from the album on youtube, here's two:

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I love the ocean. I wish I could live near it.

The song is called DARK FIRE by Strunz & Farah

I just love their music.

I am glad you took the time to watch my video and enjoy the music and pictures. Actually I have been looking for pictures in cd's, files, etc,etc in order to have a good number of data to work with. It is amazing the change, and thank god I am OK and well from all the surgeries I have had to repair, Hopefully I am done with surgeries because enduring all that process is also hard and emotional.

Let's keep in touch,

Thank you,

Maria V

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
