My favorite right now is Syntrax Nectar chocolate mouse. I sometimes mix it with Peanut Butter and maybe some fruit. I also like double stuffed cookie nectar and Celebrate vanilla cake batter. I got the Nectars at the Vitamin Shoppe for around 30 bucks. Celebrate is expensive I got it for 60 bucks but it also has a lot of Vitamins in it.

Another Syntrax nectar flavor that's pretty good for those who are tired of chocolate and vanilla is the strawberry kiwi. I got some of it today and it's probably the best powder based drink that I've had thus far. They have a lot of different fruit flavors. I'm looking forward to trying more of them.

Mollz, that vanilla cake batter one sounds really good. I love cake batter flavored stuff, so I'll have to look for that!

I got mine on Amazon. That particular flavor is Prime eligible. There are many other flavors being sold there that aren't, but they're still a good price. A couple of other places are The Vitamin Shoppe and the Syntrax website (though it's more expensive there).

I can't remember where I ordered mine...I think Vitamin Shoppe...but you can get a sample pack of flavors for the Syntrax... I haven't tried it yet... but I figured a sample pack was the best place to start, for me.

I have the Fuzzy Navel flavor. I read somewhere that flavor that was the one that put them on the map, so figured I couldn't go wrong! Tastes like... A fuzzy navel. Orange-peach flavor. Good to know there's other options too. Synttax is more like juice, which i appreciate as I'm not fond of the vanilla/chocolate varieties made in a Blender Bottle. Blah. I found the synthax cheapest online at the Vitamin shop and it had free shipping.

Oh, the Syntrax Nectar ones are the best! I bought a sample pack of them off their website to try them out first. 1-866-333-7403. Once I decided which flavors I liked best, I purchased them online. Vitacost.com had the cheapest price, $32 for a 2# tub, plus I was able to find an online code for $10 off my first order.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
