gettin skinny 0 Posted April 7, 2007 I will be banded Friday the 13th (just now dawned on me that is bad luck day. HA) I am very nervous. How do you feel right afterward? I mean besides the soreness.
TracyTX 0 Posted April 7, 2007 Mine was supposed to be that day, but I decided the 11th was better, good luck with everything!!
edieparks 2 Posted April 7, 2007 I'm confused , how did I feel besides the soreness? Happy, excited, and I felt I had done the best thing for me. I felt I wouldn't be doing the yoyo diet thing anymore. I felt skinny and I hadn't even lost any weight yet!! That was my feeling after surgery. edie
TerriDoodle 6 Posted April 7, 2007 While I was sore and in pain (I'm now 3 days post op) I was having a bit of the "what the hell have I done?" thing going on, but now that I'm feeling MUCH better and have lost my first real pound....I'm nothing but excited!!! I'm not hungry (yet) and am quite satisfied with a small smoothie or 1/2 c of Soup, etc. It's all good! :-)
gettin skinny 0 Posted April 7, 2007 Thank you. It helps me feel a little better. I am afraid I will have that "what the hell have I done" feeling. But looking back I have done nothing but yo yo diet. Seems I am always on a diet but weigh 250.
Ollie 0 Posted April 7, 2007 I think at some point we have all had the "what have I done" thought but it is by far the best decision I have ever made for myself. The weight loss is slow for me, but I can tell you that I don't think about food like I used to and I feel ten thousand times better than I did pre-surgery. I am 48 lbs lighter and for the first time in years, I am actually looking forward to getting out my summer clothes from last year and not worrying about not being able to fit in them! Good luck .....the first week will be hard but you will get thru it.
