Sharpie 3,306 Posted April 26, 2014 wow I was just listening on Sirius radio to John Pinette on the Comedy Channel, he was joking about being fat. I am sorry for his family for their loss and to everyone who enjoyed his comedy. I know I am happy tonight I took the step to get healthier. My son in law's mother died yesterday @ 68 years old due to complications from diabetes, asthma and in the end she had no quality of life. She was obese for many years and smoked. deadly combination. My son in law is angry because he wanted his Mom to address her health and she wouldn't.. 1 Jim1967 reacted to this
tndfamily 17 Posted April 26, 2014 I lost my sister last year. She was only 42 and died from complications due to pancreatitis brought on by high triglycerides and sedentary lifestyle. Our mother passed away ten years ago for the same reason. This has been a huge wake up call for me. Every time my weight went up a bit I could rationalize why - 200lbs! "No big deal at least I'm not 250" year later - oops I'm 258 and it just keeps going. I have two little girls and young grand children who need me to bd here. Now is the time to take control. 1 Susan-031314 reacted to this
PRINCESSM 210 Posted May 13, 2014 I was sooo sad to hear of John Pinette's passing. He was working on getting healthier. Only saw him once at a comedy club, what a funny and genuinely nice guy. 1 tndfamily reacted to this
Ginger Snaps 1,323 Posted May 14, 2014 His manager shared his opening line: "You know how they say in every fat person there's a skinny person waiting to come out? Well, mine came out, and mine was fat." 1 tndfamily reacted to this
