laners777 145 Posted April 6, 2014 My periods got longer after surgery too and of course my first one was day 2 out of surgery! I am almost 10 months out now and they have gone back to normal. I think our bodies get so whacked out from changing food, surgery recovery, etc that it takes a while to get back to whatever normal is for us. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
