Patoonces 13 Posted April 5, 2014 I I'm only 9 days or so out and curious when some of you talk about your sleeve not liking certain things exactly what happens. Like celery or broccoli seems to be a problems for some so what would happen when you have this?
Kimberlee1383837812 4 Posted April 5, 2014 Anytime I eat something my sleeve doesn't like, I get cramping. I would advise as you introduce foods slowly, only do a small bite & see how it goes. Once I got out of liquid stage, I found it hard to do some of the soft stuff at first ( couldn't even eat just one whole scrambled egg for a while) but it got better. Couldn't tolerate Peanut Butter. Everyone is different....so be patient & listen to your body :-)

StaceyVSG 47 Posted April 6, 2014 I can eat pretty much anything I want but in small portions. I can eat one fried egg and two pieces of bacon and feel stuffed! Also, a few small bites of chicken or other meat fills me up!
carstanger 346 Posted April 6, 2014 If I eat too fast or too much, I'm sick!
Patoonces 13 Posted April 6, 2014 So by getting sick do you mean vomit, pain, or bathroom stuff? I hope the few bites you his mention are my future. I'm on day 9 and the purée phase is leaving me quite hungry
JanetPRN 496 Posted April 6, 2014 No food, and I mean nothing, has bothered Timmy, my tiny tummy. That being said, I have bothered Timmy. If I eat too fast or don't chew enough, it feels like a lump in my throat, and it is seriously uncomfortable. Only time helps it pass. It's a mistake that none of us wants to make on a regular basis! Broccoli is hard to chew mushy enough, and it takes up too much room and keeps me from eating my Protein. Lack of Protein is my trigger for hunger , not fullness. That's the real reason I avoid certain foods. For example , if I have a green salad at lunch, I am ready to gnaw on my knuckles within an hour and a half. If I add egg or chicken to it, I'm good until my next meal. We are all different , and you will find what's works and doesn't work for you. Enjoy the ride! LipstickLady 25,682 Posted April 6, 2014 If my sleeve is unhappy with me, it returns whatever offering irritated it the same way said offering went in. Ugh. 1 elfnow reacted to this
