ArixS 28 Posted April 5, 2014 So I had my sleeve march 18th day of I was 254 and I'm currently 240 mined you a lot of the weight lost was the first week but I can't seem to lose any weight. I been working out on the treadmill for 30min as of now I can't lift and I haven't lost any weight for almost two weeks now. TOM is almost over so I'm kinda confused. I drink two muscle milks and a Greek yogurt and I'm starting to be able to drink more Water. Have any of you gone though this? I guess I'm just disappointed in myself
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted April 5, 2014 It's perfectly normal to stall in your weight loss, especially between the two and four weeks out mark. If you don't believe me, use the search function here and look for "three week stall." You are not alone! Keep following your doctor's instructions and the weight will start to come off again. Don't be disappointed in yourself, you are doing great, I promise!
McButterpants 2,846 Posted April 5, 2014 Don't be disappointed - it happens to almost everyone as Bufflehead stated above. You just had major surgery and you're eating virtually nothing. Your body is thinking, "WTF????? What did you just do to me?" It's trying to figure out what just happened and how it's going to recover. You are still recovering. Be gentle with your body - if you take care of it, it will take care of you. I have stalled numerous times in the past 4.5 months. They suck, but just stick to your plan - you'll come out on the other side of the stall just fine. Hang in there, Sweetie. You didn't get to 254 pounds overnight - don't expect it to come off overnight. You're doing great.
