RNBSN786 206 Posted July 15, 2014 I had my RNY at NYU Langone by Dr. George Fielding. Super nice guy and really cares for his patients. I was in the hospital for 4 days and he came by every day to check on me. He has also been on Dr. Oz show many times. He even did Governor Christy surgery. Matter of fact I saw Governor Christy in his office a few weeks before my surgery and he sure has a lost a lot of weight.

B-52 7,113 Posted July 19, 2014 (edited) My first impression was there is a lot of people in New Jersey who had bariatric Surgery....but on the flip side..."Man...there's a lot of Obese people in New Jersey" Must be all that good ethnic food...REAL Italian restaurants, Jewish Deli's....I've been all around the country, the world for that matter...there is nothing like it (except NYC)....can you say "Pork Roll, egg and cheese on a hard roll"??? It's 3am...am I having head hunger?? It'll pass..and I will be at the gym at 5 Edited July 19, 2014 by B-

It's 3am...am I having head hunger?? It'll pass..and I will be at the gym at 5 I am not sure if it's the food or not cause people in NYC (Manhattan borough) are in fabulous shape. Plus NYC is a very pedestrian friendly city so you have to walk every where. In NJ you require a car unless you live in JC or Hoboken. Plus when it's cold people don't go out much. So that's why people might be over weight due to that?
