AuntieLala83 81 Posted April 4, 2014 Anyone having trouble with their brains making us feel like we are doing something wrong. I'm doing wonderfully. I'm 5 weeks out, down 42 lbs .. Walking 3 miles a day 5 days a week. I'm fortunate to be able to eat everything in 1/4 to 1/2 cup portions only. Currently eating about 700-800 calories per day. The problem is my brain tells me if I put something in my mouth that actually tastes good, it must be bad. For lunch I had a sourdough chicken Sammy from Jack n the box but I removed everything except the grilled chicken breast and cheese. It ended up being 200 cals and 31gms of Protein. Healthy right??? My brain says NO! What can I do to get my brain in order? 1 BigGirlPanties reacted to this
kltklass 144 Posted April 4, 2014 Sounds like the diet mentality is kicking in. Sometimes it is difficult to change your thoughts after all the misc crud we have picked up over the years. Remember this is a life change not a diet. As long as you are following your doctor's plan, you are doing fine. Changing your thoughts will probably be more difficult. Deep breathing and self talk help me through those errant thoughts. Good luck to you on your new journey. You can and will do this! 1 BigGirlPanties reacted to this

AuntieLala83 81 Posted April 4, 2014 So at 5 weeks out you can eat chicken whole no probem? As long as the chicken is not too dry then yes I can have all kinds of meat. I don't eat beef so not sure about that
