I just got on the scale this morning and I am disappointed I've only lost 8lbs doing the pre-op diet since 3/24. I go for my egd on Monday then my preop visit on Tuesday and Friday is my surgery I sure hope they don't cancel my surgery they did not say how much weight I needed to loose

The point of the preop diet is to shrink the liver. Losing weight is a bonus.
