pbucks 10 Posted April 2, 2014 Just got word from my doctor's office that insurance papers have been submitted and they don't expect any problems. They booked a surgery date for April 29th. At this time I weigh 305 pounds, which is down about 20lbs since September when I started walking regularly. Try to walk 5 miles per day, 5 times a week. I use mapMyWalk app have have logged 350 miles since starting. It has taken me three years to finally go through with the WLS. I'm 60 years old and I want to try to improve this senior citizen stage of my life. Hope to see my young grandchildren grow into adults. I've been looking around the site last few days and enjoyed reading all your stories. I plan on contributing by telling my story as it develops. 2 msfitn2014 and Kate2014 reacted to this
Kate2014 5 Posted April 2, 2014 Great job on the walking! This is a great habit to have before surgery and will definitely help you along the way. 1 pbucks reacted to this
