pre.sleeve but dreaming of plastics.

Say you want a couple procedures, say mm. Would it be easier activity and pain to do it all at once or all at once? Prob be easier to pay for it surg by surg.

If we have the money when I am at least a year stable with weight I want the mommy makeover in one shot. I would not want to keep going back over and over. One operation, one recovery period and on with life :)

Susy, I had all my plastics at once. Today, I am 4 weeks post op and I feel good, only my butt cheeks hurt a little. Just keep in mind that everyone heals at a different pace.

I'm dreaming of separate procedures, I'm not a hero and I don't want to push it...I want breasts up where they belong and a tummy job...at separate times

I can't wait for my mommy makeover. I know it will be very painful, but I would rather have one surgery then multiple surgeries. I've had quite a few surgeries in my life so I'm not too worried about it. It will hurt like crazy, but the pain doesn't last forever and then hopefully I'll be done and I'll move on to enjoying my new life / body!

I too dream of a mommy makeover. I have even started a spare change MM fund jar. I'm only 1.5 weeks out so....save save save! I plan to do it all at once!

I had multiple procedures at once and am so glad I did. It was NOT super painful but recovery was long.

I'm lookimg at ps in mx. They never advertise their prices, whereas bariatric surg. plaster their prices all over. What's up with that?

Dr Sauceda has a rough pricing guideline on his website, but really, it is based on individual quotes he does from your photos. His quotes are good for 6 months. The reason is that everyone is different in terms of how extensive the procedures are and also they tend to give "bundle" discounts for having multiple procedures done at once. The sleeve is different -- it is a single procedure.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
