Let me preface this by saying, I knew this whole process would be no walk in the park...thats a given. However even in the hospital, I don't remember feeling so unsteady on my feet and just faint overall. When I'm attempting to get in my Protein shakes every time I swallow it slams into my stomach but not before causing an esophageal spasm...that pain in and of itself is enough to prevent you even attempting to get your liquids down. Lets now couple that with the light headedness... its basically the most awesome feeling in life(shakes head no emphatically).

Please tell me that A) this isn't permanent and B. I'm not a lone wolf

It's not permanent!! and yes, it is a very unsettling feeling. I remember not being able to just get up and walk at the beginning. I had to sit up first, get my bearings, before standing up.

You will feel better soon.

I was sleeved 3/22 and feel the same way. Tried to straighten up my room today and had to rest every few minutes. I keep wondering if it's because I'm not getting enough calories or enough Water, or both. It's a real struggle right now.

Yeah I don't think your alone at all. In was sleeved on 3/21 and today I got really light headed and dizzy so I decided to stop working in the yard. I have tried to increase my Water intake and see how I feel after that.

Keep us posted!

Same here. My guess is our body thinks we are malnourished. It's freaking out and we are having to go slow until things click. Mine is worse in the morning on an empty stomach. I was sleeved 3/19, I'm so surprised some of you that had surgery after me are doing yard work!

I'm on the same boat. I get lightheaded as well and I think it's because I'm not getting nutrients and Water in as I should. I was sleeved on 3/6 :) I'm actually writing this from my phone at the hospital ER because I was short of breath. They just did a CT scan so I'm hoping everything is ok! :) Yay sleevers!
