My surgery is April 2nd. I'm super excited. Im in central Texas but having my surgery in San Antonio. I'm 25. I started at 315lbs and am now at 307lbs. Size 24/26. No health issues at all.

Here is my issue. I love my boobs! I'm a 38DDD. They are a bit saggy yes but I can rock a sexy bra. Is there anything besides surgery ican do to keep them? I've been pinning workout routines etc but does anyone have hands on experience? I know (& hope) I'll loose the 38 # but I like my big girls.

This surgery is costing 14k and my insurance doesn't cover anything. I can't afford another surgery. Help. I need encouragement.

I can't give any advice on keeping the girls, but I can say that I went from a 38dd, to a 36c, but have stayed proportional. I didn't want to look like a Barbie doll. If I had kept my chest size and lost the body size, I would have to have everything tailored to be able to fit into clothing. I can wear a med and even some smalls, without having to have anything altered. If my chest was still the original size, I would need a large with the body taken in.

Thanks for the comment. I'm more worried about how bad are they gonna look? Like I said, they are a little saggy now but that's what happens when you go from a C to DD over a summer (my whole family is big busted) and I'm ok with that. I just don't want them to sag to my belly button.

At your age, the skin will probably do a decent job bouncing back as your chest shrinks. That's how it was for me, at least, in my early 20's losing about 100#.

I wish I could offer you some hope, but I can't. I went from 40DDD to 36C. Honestly, I could probably fit a B, I just can't bring myself to buy such a small cup though lol!! I loved my big girls!!! I am getting them done this December :)

If you are sooooo attached to your big boobs maybe you shouldn't get the surgery; just saying you can't have everything.

No boobs. Victoria's Secret miraculous. I'd rather have my skinny body ????

At your age there is a good chance they will be just fine. You may even stay a DDD, but more like 36 DDD. I went from a 40 D to a 34 D. Mine sag, but I'm old enough to be your mom ;)

I am 33 sleeved in October. I went from a 42 DD to a 34DD. I expected to loose a cup size but only inches in the torso. Everyone is different.

Hey y'all from TEXAS!!!!!!

I live in Lavernia but work in San Antonio.

My ta-ta's are going away but frankly my dear, I don't give a da!n. What I've lost in my boobies, I've gained in health!!! I would NEVER trade my weight loss, to include my breastisis, for the impoved health I now have.

I know it seems so vain. And yes I'm glad I did it (Friday I was 2nd guessing it) and I know I'll be healthy but it's like telling a friend who's been a singer since you've known her that she can't sing anymore. Hopefully I won't loose much.

Mallori - congrats on your surgery!!! As you know everyone is different and hopefully you will keep your big boobies. I'm currently a 40 c and I know the first thing to go are my boobs- but I'm also 41... You are young so hopefully you will be lucky and keep them!! Good luck!!

Well I've lost 22# since the 10 days before the diet to now (5 days after surgery) and so far I can tell in my face and my "pooch" so maybe it'll all be in my stomach!

Everyone IS different, It's hard to say what will happen to your breasts. Mine are deflating, for sure. I don't just mean getting smaller. I mean deflating. It's fine. When I can I'll just get surgery to fix it. It's worth saving the money.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
